This Magazine front cover uses a mid shot of the model to allow the reader to see the outfit she is wearing, and also her facial expression and body language. The model is wearing a low cut top, which therefore shows off her cleavage and attracts the reader. The model is playing with her hair which contrasts with the way she is dressed as it connotes innocence. This may be promoting the idea that women come across as innocent but can have another side to them. The photo uses high-key lighting which brings out the blonde in her hair, as well as her blue eyes, which are looking directly at the reader. The Masthead is bright blue which almost looks like a natural sky, or ocean colour. This natural imagery theme is also show in the shallow focused background, where you can briefly see leaves. This magazine may therefore be selling a 'natural' kind of look to their audience. The title uses a serif font, however the cover lines are in a sans serif font. This implies that it may be a classic magazine, selling contemporary products. This magazine is a representation of Mulvey's theory of the male gaze, that women are sexualised in the media, and only used to objectify for mens satisfaction. This is shown through the sexual, revealing outfit that the women is wearing.
